Mrs Beccy Newton (NPQEL)
I have been the Headteacher at Reedings since 2020 and have extensive leadership experience after starting my teaching career in East London, before becoming a headteacher in Tottenham. I am also the Vice Chair of Governors at Avanti Grange Secondary and Sixth Form. I love to keep active, playing netball for Bishops Stortford, swimming, running and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and Paddy, my dog.

I have worked at Reedings for over 10 years and became Deputy Head in 2018. I am also the English lead and a member of the Governing Body. Outside of school, I love taking long walks with my dog Stormy, spending time with friends and family and travelling to different places.

Miss Jody Ling
I have been the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) at Reedings since January 2018, having moved from my previous school supporting young people with complex learning needs and associated social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I love football, am an avid supporter of Arsenal and I also coach my son's football team - Ware Lions.

I have worked in the office at Reedings since 2020 and have a background in both Finance and Childcare, as well as recently training in counselling. Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family (including my three cats!), especially watching and playing football with my son and grandson. -

I have worked in the school office since May 2020 and mainly deal with all things money related. I love to dance, enjoy running and have a cat called Scampi who I love to bits!

I have worked at Reedings as an Office Administrator since 2022 and enjoy my time helping students and parents. Before this I worked for the Metropolitan Police for over 10 years, this has provided me with a vast range of experience in everyday life. I love animals and have 4 cats and a dog called Scruffy and enjoy traveling and exploring new places.

I have been a class teacher at Reedings for over 5 years. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, drinking tea and eating cake! Both my children attended Reedings before moving to Leventhorpe. -

Miss Lucy Moore (NPQSL)
I have been working at Reedings since 2022 and love it here in Sawbridgeworth! Before this, the majority of my career has been teaching in North London, many years of this being as a Leading Teacher. I love spending my free time with my 3 children and partner. I also enjoy making my own soap and body butter for my friends and family.

I have worked at Reedings for 11 years, starting as a Midday Assistant and for the past 9 years a Teaching Assistant. I engage in an art class once a week, run/walk twice a week and cook! I have an Irish husband, two daughters (nearly grown up) and a cat called 'Mittens'. -

I started Reedings in late 2023 after making a career change from the design industry to get involved in education and work around my family. In my spare time, I like creating art, running and strength training. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, two girls and many pets.

I have been working at Reedings for over 13 years. Before I was a teacher, I was a midwife where I delivered lots of babies including one Christmas Day baby who later became my daughter's best friend! I love walking especially when our walks end up at a cafe for coffee and a bacon roll!

I have been teaching at Reedings for about ten years and I love it here! I have lived in Sawbridgeworth with my husband for more than 20 years; my daughters both came to Reedings School. I keep chickens with fluffy feet in my garden and I love going to pottery lessons.

I'm a Teaching Assistant, having joined Reedings in September 2023. I previously worked with young adults, and I'm delighted to be able to transition my skills set to younger children. I'm very family orientated, especially loving spending time with my grandchildren, and I also love being involved in the Sawbridgeworth community. -

I have been teaching at Reedings since 2014 and currently lead maths. I have always lived in the area, growing up in Ware and starting my teaching career here and in Harlow. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my young son, Stanley. I also enjoy gardening, cooking and having days out with family.

Since qualifying in 2009, I have happily worked in schools in Stevenage and Waltham Cross, getting to teach a variety of age groups across KS2. Outside of school, my three young children keep my husband and I very busy with lots of hobbies and activities! -

After 25 years of working in the West End, I joined Reedings as TA and then became an HLTA in 2021. I have the privilege of delivering the class music lessons each week, which ties in with my love of music. I also have a passion for nature and the environment and enjoy spending time outdoors with my family. -

I am the Phonics Lead and Reading Champion and I really enjoy helping the children to improve their reading skills. I love baking cakes, sewing and other crafts, singing, dancing, spending time with my friends and family, and playing with my dog (Hadley) and cat (Mimi).

I have been coaching PE at Reedings for almost 10 years and have an extensive background in sports and education spanning over 20 years. I was twice awarded Sports Coach of the year, voted by the A10 SSP. I have represented Hertfordshire County rugby 1st XV and played district football for Broxbourne borough. I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, learning new skills and reading. -

I have been the French teacher at Reedings since September 2023 and have taught Primary French in various schools since 2010. I am a keen gardener, love walking with my dog, Rio, doing yoga, ballroom dancing and my latest passion is willow weaving.

I work at Reedings as a midday assistant, which means I get to spend the best part of the day with the children, break time. It’s wonderful to watch the children grow and learn through play. At home, I am an avid reader, art and crafter and enjoy picnics with my children.

I have been an MSA at Reedings since 2021 and enjoy being with all the children at lunchtimes. I previously worked as a TA for many years in a primary school. I love looking after my grandchildren, walking and watching sport. My favourite colour is green.

I qualified as a counsellor over 10 years ago, training then working for Place2Be, building my knowledge and skills to work therapeutically with children and young people. I am currently working at Reedings (and other primary schools) as well as providing a private practice. I enjoy travel, spending time with family and relaxing with friends on spa days!

Ms Sam Amos
I have over 20 years of experience as a speech and language therapist, initially in the National Health Service and, since 2012, directly for families and schools. Currently, I enjoy working with the children and teaching staff at several primary schools in Herts, including Reedings. I am also a proud mum to two, grown-up, neurodivergent daughters, so have first-hand experience of the joys and challenges of parenting children with learning differences. My favourite downtime activities are hiking, going to fitness classes with my friends and listening to podcasts.
