The School Day
Opening hours
Reedings Junior School opens for pupils at 8:45am and the register is taken at 8:55am. The school day closes at 3:25pm. In total, the length of the school week is 32.5 hours.
We offer a breakfast club, run by Mr William, from 7:30am-8:45am Monday to Thursday, and wrap-around care from 3:25pm-5:45pm Monday to Friday. Further information can be found here.

What your child needs
- School bag
- Water bottle
- Healthy snack for playtime (please see further information here)
- Planner (given on the first day) and reading book, which the children choose from the class libraries
- School uniform or PE kits. On PE days, the children come to school in their PE kit (see class pages for PE days)
- A hat on warm days (sun screen should be applied before school)
- Pencil cases in Year 5 and 6
- A change of shoes for going on the field in Autumn Term and Spring Term
- Weather appropriate outdoor clothing for playtimes (eg waterproof coat, hats, gloves etc)

Please select your child's lunch choice on Arbor, including if your child has a home packed lunch. School meals must be paid in advance and Arbor will not allow a selection to be made if the account is not topped up.
